I’ve just ordered an EOTech EXPS3-0. What model is this cause I’d like to have mine do the same once I get it if this is true. And I happen to have a bore sighter for a different range of weapons. But like the laser bullet…….when you pull the trigger does it hit were you had the laser bullet aimed at? Lmao!! Makes me laugh at some people’s stupidity. Lol!
Laser "bullet." Lol. That is a laser bore sight. God I hate it when ignorant people call a cartridge, or especially just an empty case, a bullet.

I watched to see if Grandma or somebody has a heart attack if they walk in from the garage and suddenly see an assault rifle laser pointed at them. LOL 😛

How is it that no matter where you position your head, the reticule is always on the target?

Laser boresighting provides a good idea as to where your bullet will land, since the trajectory of 5.56 is pretty flat, it does an okay job when you can't get to the range, and can save you some money so you spend less ammo sighting in and more actually shooting. It will get your windage pretty much on every time. The reality strike comes from elevation.

Yeah I personally never understood laser bore sighting as the laser shoots a straight line where a bullet obviously does not… once really zeroed though that EOTECH no matter where your head is, if you can see the red dot THAT is where it is going to shoot… great sight

YES it is! The gun never moved, however the camera was moving around showing us what it would be like if our head was moving around. The muzzle never moved, so the target (doorknob) was on sight the entire video. Hope this helped! Later…
I've not had the chance to use one, they are a bit out of my price range, but as I understand it, the EOTech projects out the target reticle into 3 dimensional space. Think of it like a laser sight without the laser. No matter where you move your head the laser will be projected onto the target. As long as you can see the sight through the little window on the EOTech, it will be lined up where the barrel is pointing.
