Bushmaster xm 15 e2s review

Just wondering is you have mounted a sight yet and how that is working out. I recently purchased the Xm15-e2s as well. however I am a bit confused on the layout I recieved as it looks like the M4 you have but it has the M3 removable handle. Also, can you tell me which type of bolt you recieved? ie.. standard, modified etc..

That Bushmaster is as good as a Colt, at a lot less cost. I have owned both brands. It appears that yours is one of the original Bushmasters made in Windham, ME.

The difference between a good Bushmaster xm15 e2s and a really good one ? Depends on where it was produced. If you have a Windham ME Bushmaster .. don't get rid of it !!!!

What are the 15 ex? I have been out of the loop! I love my Bushmaster a2 hbar 20 in barrel I can't find new!? Where van I find it? Or is this the same?

I have owned and fired more than a few AR's. The Bushmaster XM15-e2s does anything and everything a $1500.00+ gun will do so long as you do your part. I absolutely love this rifle and I will never sell it. Although this rifle would work for just about anybody, it is ESPECIALLY ideal as an entry level AR15 for the newbies out there. I stay away from anymore polymer, GI mags have never failed me.

I have exact same one, never has jammed on 223 soft point 55 grn. or XM855 62 grn. green tip ammo.My Colt and Bushmasters have been 100% reliable.

Congrats, you have a reliable rifle. I bought one myself and it becomes an addiction to some to more away, like myself. I have $2.5k invested into it besides the rifle. But out of the box it is a great solid rifle. Bushmaster has gotten better IMO.

I absolutely hate the GI mags, I run nothing but Magpul PMAGS now-a-days. I fell in love with those things a while back.

I paid $1000 for mine about 2 years ago, but it came with all the Magpul furniture. Love my Bushmaster. Haven't had any malfunctions so far after 1000+ rounds, just a great rifle all around.

Cool I Have a Bushmaster Xm-15 E2S i Think A2 it had everything yours has except that it has longer foregrips, no bayonet lug and no flash hider (PostBan Maybe?) the Barrel is Longer and The Twist is an unusual twist rate which ill post later when i get it out. Any Info on that gun?

Bushmaster makes a "Carbon 15" AR pattern rifle. It has a polymer receiver and supposed to be cheaper than the aluminum receiver Bushmaster AR. Not sure on quality, however something you might want to research further.

rear sight of A2 is suck..not like A1..sight after sigh-in ..not moving around…check A1 rear sight to see what I mean! M16A1 is lighter too!

when you mount a scope… is it just as accurate as the iron sights?

Its not that the recoil…. its the fact your shooting a .22 bullet..with far more propellant.The shell carries more powder than the .22 long bullet…Theres little recoil because of the sping in the stock…..otherwise if it wasnt for that spring it would have lots of recoil…

@numutom73543 about 10 years ago. 11-B D Co. 25-8 when I went to basic. It was the same way Just gotten lax on a few things but still say Magazine instead of clip and weapon instead of gun. I do remember getting smoked. I don't think that ever leaves anybody.
