  1. That is what a good citizen should sound like, don't carry a fierce looking pistol even if the laws permits it? Lol, if you abide by the law, dirty looks for intent is not what the second amendment is about, be proud of where we are and do not spread out unessasarlly fears and do not glue every thing to make yourself a good citizen.

  2. Great video. you hit the main points solid! Youre right, a lot of police are unaware of the different ways an AR can be classified. As an officer and gun enthusiast, Im familiar with the rulings by the ATF; however, a majority of officers are only familiar with the state laws. So definitely keep a copy of the ATF rulings/letters with your gun at all times. And make sure you have the latest copy as rullings do and can change. If an officer is unsure politely ask for a supervisor to come to your location and they should be able to clear up any misunderstandings. Also be polite and understanding as the officer most likelt is unfamiliar with anything other than State and local laws. Again great video!

  3. Nice video thanks for the info.quick ? Iam in the process of getting my gun rights threw a loywer witch I know I'll get it back, but in the mean time if I build my on ar-15 pistol and order all the parts from different areas, will I have to do any paper work,I know probably, but Iam just trying to get some info on this if you know,I'd like to start building my Ar-15 even though Iam still in the process of getting my gun rights back, I only have a mistaminoers, I think this is how you spell it,no felonie, can I start ordering my parts to build one,or do I have to wait to get my gun license ?

  4. The Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives, Technology Branch has affirmed that the Thordsen Customs Buffer Tube Cover/CAA Saddle combination is a CHEEK REST and IS NOT a "rifle stock". It DOES NOT reclassify an AR/AK type "Pistol" as a "short barreled rifle" under definitions established by the National Firearms Act of 1934 or the Gun Control Act of 1968. However, BATFE does specifically warn that any misuse of, or modification to, this configuration that may cause a firearm to be used outside of its design parameters, such as being shoulder fired, may change its classification and may make a firearm subject to NFA and GCA regulations and/or illegal to possess. Click on the links below to read the letters to and from ATF.

  5. You can buy any stripped lower on the paper work mark it as other that way you can build that lower into a pistol or rifle, I just bought 3 lowers and I'm trying to decide what pistol I will build and the other 2 will be rifles, he is right whatever stock you put on it better be pistol built, I bought the Thordsen pistol stock which is legal, I will not put together an upper until I have my pistol lower completely done.

  6. Great video. I will not be building one of these….was considering it but not practical for me lol. I have a ccw so not sure I can carry this without a trench coat in August haha lol! Might look funny yes? lol!

  7. From what I understand, You can build your brand new stripped lower into
a pistol document it with dates and pictures and then you can build it
into a rifle by adding a 16" or longer barrel and a buttstock and be
perfectly legal and then turn it back into a pistol and be perfectly
legal. Also it would be legal to own/have the extra parts to convert it
to whichever form its not currently in. BUT if you bought it as a
Rifle or built it into a Rifle 1st it can only ever be a rifle.
Converting it to a pistol would be illegal. Also you can have the
angled foregrip on a pistol the documentation is online.

  8. Great video, very informative.

I have a question for you. What about 80% AR lowers? Technically they don't have to be registered. A 80% 1911 pistol also does not have to be registered. Would a 80% AR pistol also follow that same track?

Also, what about bullet buttons? In CA we have to have bullet buttons on our AR rifles. Pistols do not have to have them, so would a AR pistol not have to have one?
