ccw permite carry ar pistol?????????

Cool video. Just picked up my 1st AR pistol and was wondering about this.
In my state my CCW permit allows me to carry a pistol in my car but not a loaded rifle. (I think they are concerned with poaching) So I’m wondering since the AR that is built as a pistol may be legal where in my state a AR that is a rifle is not.

In Oklahoma it's called a handgun license because you dont have to conceal carry, the laws are different, you cant carry a caliber higher than 45 acp and cant be longer than 16 inches.

As a concealed-carrier myself, I'm just shaking my head at this. Why?! Just because you CAN and MAY doesn't mean you SHOULD. Carrying a firearm in public is for the purpose of self-defense, and you cannot honestly tell me that you are in the self-defense mindset when acting like this. You, sir, are the reason those who don't carry guns are hesitant to accept those of us who do.

I think I saw in another vid that the atf defines “pistol” differently from handgun. I don’t have a cwp yet but if yours says handgun specifically that might not include an ar pistol. I didn’t dig in to this terminology myself but figured I would throw it out there.

you can keep AR pistol in your car. some states don't allow you to keep loaded rifle in your car…

Let's be honest, if you want to conceal carry an AR Pistol correctly, there is no easy way to draw your weapon quickly. If you do wish to conceal carry it, I recommend you get a backpack big enough to put it in. No offense, but hiding it under your jacket makes it very obvious you're hiding something and, in today's society, gives people a suspicion you're up to no good. And if you want to avoid authorities or confrontations, hiding an obvious AR under your jacket will just cause you problems.
