  1. Some guy commented on a fellas video, called his free float quad rail a cheese grader. Lol. Personally I like the idea of a quad cuz of the accessibility. Esp a barrel that has no stresses during vibration after firing. He was cutting on him cuz he purchased a item from cheaper than dirt. They are bad to buy from cuz they marked up all their products after the false flag shooting. Anywho, that's a bad ass upper. I'm about done my first build an after seeing this I wish I'd of went with the government profile barrel. I got a fluted stainless, 1-7 bcm upper, yhm freefloat. The sucker is a freaking tank. Lol. Ya could seriously use it as a club if ya didn't have any bullets. Think im gonna call it luey, after Louisville slugger. I'm getting a govt barrel for sure.

  2. @h3avysoundz I haven't priced all the individual parts on BCM lately, but I believe the price difference isn't that much of a difference between the two. Plus we'd have to buy all the tools to assemble the upper. Which we've kinda been meaning to do anyway, but haven't had a reason to yet.

  3. @NIKON777 Agreed. I have not been a fan of RRA lately. They're really behind on the times when it comes to combat style guns and barrels. Mil-spec isn't the best for a precision gun, but right now you can't beat mil-spec for a gun you'd carry day in and day out.

  4. @lskw1 There are some companies out there making some awesome piston guns, but I don't see myself ever putting in any kind of conversion kit. I bought that SR556 right when I got back from Iraq and I ended up selling it about 6 months later. Just hated it.

  5. @lskw1 We're kinda both on the same page when it comes to DI vs Piston for a combat AR. I find no reason to modify an already working system by adding more parts. Both DI and Piston have their advantages and disadvantages, but from my experience (Ruger SR556) the added weight and additional parts isn't worth it.

  6. @MrAzcabowabo The DD Lite 12", I also looked into the DD MFR rail. I eventually decided against it due to strength concerns and modularity. vs a full rail system. You really cant go wrong with any of them.
