Interesting concept. But the idea of an AR style PCC/SMG has never appealed to me over one built for pistol caliber from the ground up. They have so much unnecessary length and mass (since the receiver is still sized 5.56), and the still can't have a folding stock.
An MP5 will serve you better than an AR9 any day of the week.
9mm version = meh.
.45ACP version = yeah.
10mm version = hell yeah.
If I didn’t live in a Commie state, I’d sbr one of these in 45 to around a 7 or 8 inch barrel and put a suppressor under the handguard just so the front barely comes out of the end. Then I’d put an echo II trigger system in it and the 25 round kriss extension glock 21 mags. Modern Thompson. Also good quiet home defense gun with a light and red dot.
