  1. I bought a replica of the 551 for airsoft, and it uses .08nW which will damage my eyes. waste of 80 dollars. I want to buy this scope just cause i want a reliable optic. I obviously wont have to worry about BB's cracking the screen either which is a plus

  2. @GTWUW6 The 512's aren't as bad. They are about 375-410 dollar range, which is still high for a non-magnified red dot, but worth it when it comes to the ability to stand up to any punishment you can dish out. I have other Eotechs on other rifles and think the 512 is probably the best value. My rule of thumb is 50% of the cost of the rifle is how much I spend on a scope, and this one is right on the money. Thanks
