This is probably a older video but I encourage everyone not to use CheaperThanDirt. That BS try pulled with ammo and magazines was inexcusable.
If you are thinking of getting a 3x mag for the EOTech 512, don't. Because the 512 has its on/off buttons on the lower rear of the unit, the 3x magnifier placed behind the 512 will all but block the on/off buttons. You CAN get to the buttons but not without some finger gymnastics and slowing down forward movement of your group. If you have big sausage fingers, definitely don't get one.
Cant believe no one mentions anything about them being parallax free…its one of the best things about sights like this.
I bought a new 517 A.65 for $390 and I saw a 512 A.65 for $350 🙂

thats bad ass look like it has head tracking
its mounted way too fare back on the gun imo and the vfg should also be further out for better stability i dont use a vfg tho just saying…hate em …good vid on the optic

@GeauxHunting Try turning down the brightness level. Once the brightness gets too high it creates a blurred reticle. If that doens't work there may be something wrong with the sight, maybe even low battery power?

Mine is a lot blurrier than that without magnification. Is there something wrong with mine? Should I send it back to eotech?
