Hopefully even though they didn't directly address magazine bans, they address that along with the obvious "permit to purchase" schemes that will pop up as a result of this.
How are states permitted to interpret the Bill of Rights differently? It's not a state Constitution. It's national!
Will this have any effect on ny and how they bann ar-15, semi auto and pistols behind a long, hard and expensive pay wall.
If the Supreme Court does not state that AR 15s are common and are within the second ammendment realm than I am outta this commie state of RI.
Thanks!
Anyone that wants to ban firearms needs to have their speech taken away. If they don't like it, they can deal with the bitter irony.
They said. DO NOT COMPLY
The difference between 24 million and 32 million is no doubt the losses due to unfortunate boating accidents.
Mmmmmm..
What did the founders say?
How to ultimately deal with these ppl?
I still can’t figure out how this applies to me. I don’t have to obey unconstitutional laws.
The problem is we have lawyers and a system run by criminals. Because every weapon a soldier carries is covered as an arm. We still have the term arms dealer. It would include rockets, belt fed machine gun guns. And grenades. And now explosively armed drones and 40 mm grenades. That is a normal soldier’s outfit reporting to combat.
Maybe it’s time to closely look at the eleventh amendment on sovereign immunity when it relates to states lawmakers ( who should know better) passing laws that knowingly and directly violate constitutional rights. Class action suits with huge monetary damages on the backend might be just the ticket….speak softly…but carry a big stick.
The SCOTUS are fools if they fail to issue a very wide ruling to include semi auto shotguns and SBRs to kill this issue once and for all. They must be tired of beating this same dead horse.
Democrats hate the constitution, Democrats hate America 🇺🇸 I thought it was obvious anyway 🤔😏😒 We should each pick 25 states and divorce.
NH and Maine are constitutional carry.
Shall not be infringed. A phrase the government purposely ignores. Folks, it the very reason why we have a 2nd Amendment.
Americans have had a fully corrupt government for many decades, and The People, will have it until they make the Government afraid of them.
I disagree that the current AR-15 is the exact type of weapon spoken of by the Court. I submit that it's actually the M-16/M4 variant of the AR-15. Select fire needs to be normalized…
I have 0 faith in the SCOTUS. Hope I'm wrong
Massachusetts is only one small part of new england. I live in New England and AR's are perfectly legal where I live. And we have the ocean, and we have the mountains. And we don't have to live in Wisconsin.
Circuit split, wow.
I haven’t even seen a grim, not to mention a cube grim…but I’ve got a cube Batman though.
How the Modern Musket (AR platform) can be illegal in MA – 'birthplace of the American Revolution' – is just bewildering.
Comment of the day was spot on Tom! 👍
It would be nice to see the SCOTUS adopt the 3rd Circuit's expansion of the question presented and fold in any capacity magazines (ACM's) into their ruling in Viramontes.
The possession of firearms is the only guarantee to prevent the genocide. The globalists are the ones behind the anti-Second Amendment. I'm not optimistic about our court system because they answer to them.
As I see it, the problem is Law Enforcement. Just follow the oath you took, shall not infringe.
What you're talking about doesn't exactly stand up when you look it up and you find out that private citizens who had shipping companies had cannons people in the public had cannons
