Love my flashlights,can never have too many and the brighter the better!

I like that light, it keeps your hands free and lets you carry a gun out around the property at night. I live in the country and go out when animals or two legged animals come over my camera feed. That would be very handy.

Roy, the Streamlight Sidewinder was the first helmet mounted military light I bought. The light flexed 180°. That was 20+ years ago.

Oh I need a few of those! Skinning deer after dark. Setting up goose decoys. I don’t have a son to yell at for not holding the flashlight properly!

That could be useful for bicycling, jogging or hiking at night.

I've had a few good cycling-specific helmet mounted lights, but by the time I go back to buy another it's been discontinued.

This looks perfect for work on the docks. We wear regular hardhats when we’re loading barges and most of the guys have head lamps with the elastic straps but they tend to slide off the plastic hardhats. I got rid of the straps and screwed my light directly into the front of the hardhat. But we also wear bump-caps around the yard when there aren’t any lethal falling chains and shackles. Bump-caps are just plastic inserts that fit in any baseball style cap. This sidesaddle light is ideal because the regular headlamps are over the bill of the cap and the bill shades the light. (You have to look straight down to see where you’re stepping) Mounted on the side, that won’t be happening and no straps to fumble with. Great idea! I’ll definitely be getting one of these and show it off at work. I know for sure our crane mechanic will love this! (He still holds flashlight in his teeth when he’s under the machines. 😂) Great find, Roy. I’ll tell the guys at work that you invented it. You’ll probably get a bunch of longshoremen subscribing to your channel. 😂

When Roy isn't building rifles from pine cones and ancient horseshoes he is playing with all the cool gizmos. The shop apron he's wearing was probably made on a loom he built by hand using fibers from old rope he's been collecting since the 60s. Hell, he has custom leather holsters for micrometers!

I really like lights that turn on and off, I hate cycling through modes I never use. This seems like a good compromise.

Yep I've got dozens and dozens of different flashlights from inexpensive ones to battery-operated ones to rechargeable ones.. my EDC is in fact a Streamlight microstream.. rechargeable.. so nice and small.. not a million different settings in modes just on bright medium and off with a rear tail switch. But this looks pretty cool I own an exterminating company I basically a three man operation and I would consider getting one of those along with a bump cap to keep me from banging my head. In the attics in basements.. great idea thanks Roy

I have so many flashlights. That said that one would be great for fishing. My favorites have been the Finex line, been my everyday carry for years at work and now at home.

I've been into flashlights since I was a kid. I have no idea how many I own but it has to be 100 or more. I have them in every vehicle, scattered all over the house, the garage, the sheds, and who knows where else.

I like to have the option of red illumination, it doesn't draw bugs to my face, and doesn't show as far. There are some warm white that are supposed to reduce bug attraction too.
