  1. The dichotomy of Guntube summed up in one video. It’s either shills in the pocket of leviathan group trying to hawk goods or videos like this that use click bait titles.

As of the posting of this comment you’re like one of three people who’ve posted videos on the vudu 4-12 not from shot show or any industry event. You used Vudu 4-12 in the title, yet you spoke on the optic for less than 5 mins in a 51:51 min long video. In total you spoke more about the revolver, its set up and the issues you faced

Look I’m no one to tell you how to run your YouTube channel and I do appreciate your shooting content not solely focused on product pandering. However, this smacks of click bait.

You compare the optics use case to that of an ACOG. Why is that? Is it the eye relief? You also said you expected some issues with the optic, what issues were you expecting? You also said eotech had to make some compromises to make an optic that size, did those compromises affect you? What compromise did you experience? Was it image quality, eyebox, eye relief, or were you experiencing some type of chromatic aberration? You brought up the lack of parallax adjustment, did that affect your ability to shoot at longer distances. How about the reticle?

Ya see what I’m getting at? You use the name of a shinny new product in the title, discuss the product at virtually no length, then make an assertion on it’s capabilities (or lack there of) and then make an assessment on its use case with no supporting evidence.

  2. Austin, good stuff! Nothing like getting in some dry fire practice during a comp! I wish I could have been there. It looked like an awesome match . Legit running that wheel gun💪

  3. Good to hear that your take on the Vudu lines up with why I want one. PID at greater distance, ability to observe deeper into foliage and urban shadows, and potential for greater precision within the effective range I was already shooting at with my 1-6x.

  4. In my experience as a long time revolver shooter there are some things that you can do for the light strikes. 1) make sure you are fully seating the primers. 2) Federal match primers are softer. 3) maybe a full strength mainspring is better for 100% reliability.
    All the best!
