I just got the 4-12. My eyes don't let me use the acog any more. The 3-9 piggyback mount on the website now also says it fits 4-12. I talked to Eotech to confirm and the csr confirmed it is now the same part for both after a redesign. They have raised the underside as it was tight on the back side of the scope cap on the original. Got mine last week and does fit the 4-12. I ordered from Eotech as there are probably some of the originals floating around out there so watch which version you are getting. Paired mine the enclosed defender st and enjoying the combination so far.

I love this optic on my 20 inch 5.56. I think I am moving it to my 16 battle rifle after watching this. I did opt for a Holosun SCS enclosed optic for the top mount though. I highly recommend this optic
Impressive to see those already solid Battle Rifle 2 MOA groups tighten to 1 MOA. The view looked really good through scope cam such that I'd agree with your assessment that it is better in real life. And I like the circle + dots. Winner based on my experience and desires.
No it might be OK because it is variable, but getting out past 4 to 500 maybe 600 yards you’re gonna want a parallax adjustment and this thing didn’t put it on there for some darn reason made a good idea good up until 99% but lack of parallax on it? come on!
Think I'll buy some heat proof gloves to check my suppressor tightness as it heats up. Really don't want a baffle strike.
Since I'm a short to medium range hunter, the intricate combat ladder reticles are just too busy for me and I prefer a second focal plane reticle. I like compact though. My next optic is likely to be a 3 or 4x prism sight if I can find that simple crosshair reticle.
