Nikon recently announced their much anticipated successor to the popular P1000 superzoom bridge camera. Release date will be sometime in February, 2025 with very similar features to the Nikon P1000. This camera is like no other in that goes from a nice wide angle of 24mm to a super zoom of 3000mm (125x). Same sensor and and lens as the P1000 and expect the same image quality. Feel free to check the channel for in depth reviews on this and all bridge cameras from Nikon to Sony and everything in between!

They are bloody heavy!!
A pervert, a spy and a nature enthusiast walked into a Nikon store…
Bros slowly zooming onto a woman 💀
Why is discountinued, nasa knows
You can buy my 950 only 3 time time that's it
That’s actually hyperzoom not superzoom
That zoom lens wasn’t the only thing getting bigger
Is the same exact of the p1000 but with the usb c and still with a smartphone sensor
optical or digital zoom?
the creep camera is back!
zoom moon fake lol
We had the P900 back in 2016 and used it in our Holidays at Kenia.
Maybe there are much better cameras but for wild life shooting, where you sometimes have not much time to take a Photo .. man this cameras are Perfect.
God i want one so badly!
I stay with sony RX 10 V
thank you very outstandingly you are :
Does the discontinuation of P1000 got to do anything with security issues ?
The P950 has better weather protection, is lighter, cheaper, and the zoom has almost the same reach as the P1100/P1000.
junk for wildlife except maybe identification. Soft images that would get deleted by most.
cell phone size sensor lol
Yet it still can’t prove the earth is flat 😂
Camera built for perverts
P for pervert 😀
I have the P1000 and love it (I hear many complaints about image quality, but once one knows how to BEST use the P1000, the results are GREAT!)
I am willing to pay a premium for a new Nikon P Series camera IF … ???
So Nikon, are you listening? I want the "Nikon P2K" (i.e. P2000, clever huh?). I will pay much more (i.e. extra) for any leaps added …
ONE: 4K 60p (come on, FLYING BIRDS need 60p),
TWO: a little better AutoFocus technology,
THREE: less camera JERK/shake (actually I want zero); when engaging Zoom motor from a fully extended position (it briefly jerks/shakes the image [e.g. from 3000mm to ~2800mm] when the motor is just engaged while retracting from fully extended, even when camera is BOLTED down) … the solve for now is too not fully extend the lens, i.e. stop zoom just shy of 3000mm.
FOUR: A SIMPLE zoom REMOTE FOR HANDS OFF control (while ZOOMed)(wired could be ok too)!!!
FIVE: I want my camera to actually be usable while charging (via USB-C brick)!!!!
those are the BIG things I will PAY much more for (many little things also needed) for the New "Nikon P2K"!!!!!
What a missed opportunity.
No doubt there will be a refresh of the 950 too.
I hope they have upgraded the stabilization and it gets the same good auto-exposure like the P950
Really this super zoom camera's images and software leaves a lot to be desired, the Sony RX10MK4 is far superior in everything and it's nearly eight years old.
How can I get notification about this?
Disappointed… Insignificant upgrade
Does it have raw processing?
Cool
Though I am Still waiting for the Rx10 V
Fingers crossed
Nothing else comes closein terms of reach. Sometimes it iis better to be noisy than fuzzy
Just bought a P950, oh well, I think I still have the better value option, very close performance for almost half the price.
Very underwhelming upgrade. No 4K 60 fps and 2K 480 fps or 960 fps. Such a fail from Nikon.
Thanks for that update!
Perfect!!! 🎉
WOW, a Panasonic X1500 successor AND a P1000 update?! 😮
Great news
