Am I like not understanding something here because it looks like that magnifier is in front of the optic and he keeps flipping it out of the way and flipping it back up.
Bushmaster is up and running as of 6-26-25. I bought my Bushmaster Carbon 15 in 2011, and it has run flawlessly since then. Runs as well as the M1, M14, and M16 that I ran in the Marine Corps. Please don't hate on less expensive guns.
I bought a deflector since I shoot a rifle left handed. I'm right handed with everything EXCEPT a rifle. I hated how shell casings hit my face, so a bought a deflector that mounts to the rail. Fixed.
As a lefty, first thing i noticed was how it showered the shooter with brass. Do you think it's the brass deflector design? Or maybe the rifle being undergassed? Edited to say: I love the pencil barrel, I think they're very underrated. It's nice to see more and more gun makers returning to those

Jy klink Afrikaans my maat.
I have an older carbon 15. I'm a lefty and never have the brass come back at me. All of it lands around 3ft away
I have one of the original Carbon-15 and it was a great starter gun for my son.
I’m new to your channel and I like it. You get to the point short and sweet.

I have never seen an optic set up that way

I found another one I might go pick up.
