The AR-15 platform gives you endless ways to tune recoil, but not all of them make sense, especially if reliability matters.
In this video, Brandon breaks down two rifles: a competition-style build and a duty-grade setup, and shows what actually makes them shoot flat, not just soft.

Committed to making Lucas comments forever….
forgot to unsub ty for reminding me
Anyone else instinctively press on the video notification… to then realize… Lucas is gone. 😢
BORING
So the point of the video is buy a flow through suppressor?
The AR-15 in 5.56 really doesn't have much recoil at all.
Zero recoil in AR15s
Just use a break of you aren't using simulated full auto in an AR pistol/sbr. You will burn yourself. If you are then you need a flash can.
It's been a long time. Glad to see the Lucas comments are still in full effect. 🤣
Amendment II
A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state,
the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed…………Nothing more nothing less.
We are the Militia, and when the Second Amendment was written (18th Century), "well regulated" meant "well trained and equipped," not controlled.
Everyone there should just leave the company and work elsewhere. It’s over
If only it were this easy to delete a shareholder
I can certainly appreciate the benefits of reducing the recoil of anything, but I have to think that the people that are complaining about the recoil of an AR15 are the same people complaining that the M14 is too heavy.
Great video bud, def makes me want to go train… get reved up watchin this stuff!
For my 2Gun rigs I use the less Gas and less mass moving as possible. I use Centy 14.5 MW HF with PW NOX9 KEYMO , BRT EZ TUNE 0.073 Gas Tube , Brownells LW BCG / Centy Bolt , Springco Yellow and KAK 1.7oz Buffer .
Not a fan of Adj Gas blocks. I favor BRT route . 0.073 Middy Tube is equivalent to 0.070 gas port size. Every 12k or so rounds you do have to swap out the Tube.
When I swapped my barrel T 17k rounds . I had 3 malfunctions and that's it . The gun ran like a top . You could legitimately shoot it FA 1 handed and it not move at all .
I'm just here for the comments.
The Secret to Eliminating your brother and stealing his company. (Without Sacrificing Morals)
Is this for 8-10 year olds starting out with a 22 and 223? I could understand the recoil of a 223 being a little surprising to a small child. The loud noise for the first time too.
@3:30 some bolt under the optic is … loose to say the least. kinda like yall's morals, so i hear.
LUCAS 4 EVVVVVA
You guys should have sold to Lucas.
It’s just not the same 😢
"The secret to eliminating your family"
What a beautiful badass range that got stolen from Lucas…
Cant wait to see more from ADAPTIV DEFENSE 💪😎
What recoil?
People have issues with recoil on semi auto AR’s? Usually when I train new recruits they talk about how smooth shooting a AR is compared to a pistol
What recoil are you talking about? The AR-15 doesn’t have any recoil.
And don't run a piston gun…unless I'm doing something wrong, even with an adjustable gas block
I can concur that the RC3 is an incredible recoil mitigator.
Having adjustable gas is nice if you're not running a low back pressure flow through can but you don't want to cheap out
Great tips.
I just use a drum, weapon light, optic and pop up sights to weight it down a few pounds and its a lazer beam
Zero kick fr. That's clean as hell
How to delete recoil -> buy a huxwrx or similar style low back pressure suppressor. The end.
I have no recoil on mine, it doesn't even look like that through the red dot
How about deleting dick pics that get sent to a owners wife?
Recoil??? what recoil????😂
Where’s Lucas? I bet he would love to be here.
Still not the same :,(
