  1. Nice review! Based on comments, I'm gonna stick with my Anderson!! All the quality, far less $$'s!! I can keep stocking up on inexpensive Gen 2 PMAGS, And lotsa M855!!

  2. I had one of the original m400 Treads The barrel was poorly made. Not CHF.
It looked like a cheaply built stainless. Not sure who made it. But was horrible.
The groups told the story. It was pinned but without set screws like most AR's
The pin was all that held it on. The rail was another big No for me. It got very hot very fast.
It looks like they might have fixed the rail issue on this model though. It has holes all the way down.
The tread model was solid with no holes near the barrel nut.

  3. $1,199 for “entry level”?

It is obvious that we have different value thresholds.

I was tempted to get a SIG 516 G3 Mohawk in FDE for $2,099, but then I remembered that the Bren 3 should be available later in the year for about $2K …

  4. Thank you for this video.
A good, well made, solid, simple and not too expensive M4 may be an excellent choice for quite a lot of people.
Maybe, the only obvious limit of this rifle is that people with astigmatism will need to replace the red dot by a prismatic sight even before starting shooting it. It is quite easy to do it

  5. "street" price is almost $1K. C'mon Mac! NO ONE new to AR's should spend that much. Apparently, your bank account is outta step with folks that have to pay $5-$6 for a gallon of fuel to get to work.
