They can take a beating that most other companies products can't survive and keep working. Their products are made to help keep you alive in the worst situation. Buy once, cry once.
The final phase of the life cycle of an American company – offshore production and product development. Don't think we don't see you white labeling products. Your customers are not stupid, stop treating them as such.
Vortex has the exact same for much lower price
Surprisingly Eotech makes shitty pistol dots. They were one of first to market with rifle Holographic. I do like the big donut of death but Aimpoint always felt better and always on, no button or shake awake needed.
When I think Red Dots for Defense on a pistol I think ACRO or RMR. Comp M4/M5 for rifles. Eotech I’ll give it to SBR’s (offense) kicking doors, in and out, actively managing and planning your equipment usaged (not reacting)
Also my Aim Point magnifier is crisper than my Eotech but they do have a nice product at 5x in small package. There’s no single best, a mix of Eotech and Aimpoint for out to 300 meters and then you need a Leupold MK5 to pickup the rest

Sharp dot with clear glass, in an ultra-durable housing with great battery life. The only “features” that actually make a difference are Shake-awake & usable Auto-brightness. That’s all you need for an amazing optic.
“The Chinese are eating our lunch” their optics are full of gimmicks.
