New for 2026, EOTech has a new version of their EFLX pistol red dot. The new EFLX CE has an enclosed emitter, and is smaller than the original so it can be mounted to both Delta Point Pro and RMS-C footprints. It also boasts a selectable reticle, auto-off and shake awake features, and (most importantly) a brighter illumination setting on the top end!

The VP over the EFLX program told me they where aware the first 2 generations of optics had serious issues with holding zero and glass retention. They also had no intention of issuing a recall. With was during the first year of release. never eotech, never again.
This is the kind of shit you get when a once great brand has decided to exist on their name alone. I'm happy with my Vortexes, I see no need to pay so much for practically the same dot Vortex has.
$379 msrp would make me wanna try one a little more, but definitely seems like an upgrade to the OG EFLX. I just don’t see how this will be better than the vortex defender enclosed I have.

I just ordered a normal eflx last night for my g19.6 for like $250. I do like that enclosed one, though
I am very interested in this. It looks like the vortex defender enclosed ccw, st and venom were all thrown in a blender and this is the result. If street price comes in around the same as the defender st enclosed and Sage doesn’t easily destroy it, I might try one. I like that it’s close to the vortex defender but with the venom buttons. My eflx, which is on a “fun gun” has the best glass of ANY optic I have owned.
