Absolutely correct Roy. I want a light that's 500 lumens, and goes ON and OFF. Sure I use it for utility purposes, but as a retired Street Cop, I also know how Tactically important it is to have a light if you concealed carry. You don't need a light that requires a college course in programming, when you need it under stress. Streamlight is doing some great stuff with EDC type lights and I carry a 1L – Protac or a rechargeable Macrostream everyday. Now I guess I have to buy one of these Wedge Lights. It's just too much for me to resist.
Geez Roy, you brought up a sore subject around my place. I always carry two flashlights and there’s plenty of other ones around the house not counting the headlamps. Honestly I didn’t realize how useful an EDC flashlight was until I started carrying one years ago. Now I can’t do without them.
I'm a security officer, and I get tired if constantly cycling through 3 or 4 modes just to turn the flashlight 🔦 off. Plus, it wares out the switch much more quickly.
I’ve been carrying Streamlight flashlights for years. I bought my wife the little keychain light and it’s darned impressive for its size. I’ll have to try that new one
Simple IS better! Especially with these things. We have come a long way from those hideous AA batery and breakable not too bright pen lights. Reminds me of a carpenters pencil.
I got the one with the switch on the side that I really liked a lot. But the police always snatch it off of me saying it’s a weapon. I got the shorty with the back button and don’t like that configuration as much.
I have had a $14 Energizer Tac 300 in my pocket for 7 years now. It's been used heavily, even under water. I have a second on my night stand, and two that I have never used.
I've been carrying a ledlenser for over twenty years, I love this flashlight.I've replaced it once with the newer.Series they are indestructible. Turn it on toss it off a boat. It'll stay lit all the way to the bottom. And we'll stay lit for a very long time until the batteries die. My current occupation, I use a flashlight every single night. I work which is 40 hours a week. Battery life can last 3-5 months Quite possibly a year, depending on how often you use it. It fits perfectly in my hand it's not too big. It's not too small the entire frame is metal with a rubber seal. Protecting where the battery is great company product. And it is the perfect size to carry something else in your dominant hand.
I have more firearms than flashlights. My EDC lights are Streamlight, Pro-Tac 1L-1AA or their Macrostream USB. My old fav is a Surefire 9p that I almost lost at work. A tree snagged the lanyard while we were rolling along the Yaquina River. I stopped the train to go back to get it, angering my conductor…she got over it. Cheers, Roy!

I don't buy any edc light that doesn't take double or triple A batteries.
I am a big Streamlight fan. I have many.

I was just looking at flashlights this morning… it’s like someone read my mind.
Ok Roy, I ordered one. Are you happy? By the way, the S&W 432UC you practically insisted I buy is now one of my favorites! Keep up the great video’s!

Why do we males, all have the same kind of obsessions … flashlights, knives, guns😅…never enough

Reminds me of a carpenter pencil which i carry a lot. Got to get me one of these lights, thanks for sharing.
Very nice, Mr. Roy! Now shopping for one of these. Wishing you a very Happy New Year for 2026! 🎆 🇺🇸
I work part time at Home Depot and I would like to buy flash lights but don't, I'm looking at a 2000 lumina now.

“How many flashlights do I need?” “Philadelphia lawyer.” I like your humor. My Streamlight microstream broke; maybe I’ll replace it with this one.
Thankfully, somebody understands that strobe is NOT requured!

I have the Streamlight Macrostream, and the Microstream usb. One is always in my edc rotation. Looks like this will be my next.
NO SOS? NO STROBE? I'll take two!
I still have an original Kel-Lite, 4 D cells. Pre-dates Streamlight and Maglite!
I got the one with the switch on the side that I really liked a lot. But the police always snatch it off of me saying it’s a weapon. I got the shorty with the back button and don’t like that configuration as much.
I used to be die hard for Maglites, and they still hold a piece of my heart, but Streamlight is dang near unbeatable.

I miss the old lights with light bulbs

"Philadelphia Lawyer" 😂😂
Flashlights and Firearms go together
Streamlight is the working man's surefire. Some of us have car payments and mortgages 😅
That's a cool light. I have flashlights everywhere in my house, builds, truck😅 you can never have to much light

I’ve been carrying a FENIX for the last 4-5 years at work. I have a couple of the batteries for it and they are rechargeable. Pricy but well worth it.
These are awesome! Won’t roll away on an unlevel surface, flat like carrying a pocket knife and extremely durable.
My favorite channel for this reason!
All of them seems about the right amount
I don’t need red and I don’t need strobe. This light, may be one for me to look at. Thanks 👍🏻🇺🇸
😂 like having guns haven't got there yet !😂😂😂
Man, I love the ergos on this one. 🤠
Very nice piece of kit. That said, I’ll keep my Streamlight Microstream. $75 is a bit expensive for me right now.
I have a streamlight mini flashlight rechargeable that is about 15 years old and stills works great
You are always costing me money!!
Thank you!
Just like guns never enough!
It's a nice design but a bit pricey for me.
Love that design and capabilities. I’ll have to get one Roy!
