When using irons let your rear iron become a lil blurry or fuzzy ( not furry ) and your front clear

I don’t understand why something with a battery some claim is the only thing you need and not also a good set of iorn sights specifically for SHTF
I prefer to only use the front one
I like iron sights , always prefered the old fashioned way
When I was a kid growing up shooting I thought red dots were fake sites they added to call of duty lmao I only ever had access to irons
What ar is that like who makes it is it a 20 in barrel can u put a bayonet on it
Disclaimer, you do have to "zero them" like any other optic
as a ANA like the army iron sight is better to practice and easy master as for the red dot sight its much harder to master
Everyone should get very comfortable with iron sights before buying any optics
My front sight post gasblock appears to be straight but my rear iron sight is cranked all the way to the left

Zero so you always dot the “i” with no space between the dot and the “i”
If you cant use iron sights, please never use a gun.

Fr just hit wm with your crossed eye technique (im not knowledgeable with guns that much im not sure doing the cross eye would help for combat scenarios)

Dad was in the army, had a 22lr back home for hunting, back in 1995 taught me and my siblings including my younger sister how to use the iron sight, left 4 soda cans on a hill just about 300 meters from where we were, as we got back from swimming at a nearby creek, just after lunch he asked us to have a shot at those empty cans on top top of the hill, we were sure we've shot all of them but one was still standing, he then asked us to go up the hill and we came back down with all of the cans and found out the last one that was standing was full of sand, that's why it didn't fall, it even had two holes in it, he also taught us when shoot at a moving target, put the sight just 2 inches in front of it if it's traveling at 30km/h grown up, went hunting a few times always have my kill in the rear of the truck to feed my family, thanx dad👍..

I've learned how to keep both eyes open and focus on the target with irons on pistol. For the AR are you supposed to do the same? I can't get my focus on the target with both eyes open while trying to look down the sights on the rifle as well.
Its called a peep sight when looking through the circle. Your front post is also able to raise and lower by turning for sighting in the weapons irons.
