I like that the non-X, TLR-1 HP does fit in holsters with the original TLR-1 HL footprint. It also has very good output. It doesn't have the newer, nicer switches, sadly, but I was disappointed when you tested the TLR-1 HL-X with how the battery compartment latch faired in the impact testing.
What is holster fit like in Safariland style holsters?
Holster support for the S&W Equalizer with TLR-7 HL-X and the Beretta APX A1 Tactical and APX A1 Compact Tactical would be awesome.

Been waiting for you guys to do a video on this one. I bought one on release day. I’ve been carrying it for duty, and have put a few thousands rounds through my 47 with the light one it. So far no issues and I’ve been super impressed with it.

I was excited for this thinking it'd fit with TLR-1 HL holsters, a nice plug and play upgrade. Deflated finding out it doesn't and isn't. Probably still going to pick one up, looks like it'll work fine in existing large WML duty rigs that already accommodate an X300/TLR-1 HL/HL-X.

I know its an uncommon combo, but id love to see more holsters for the p229 with the tlr7 HLX. its a hard one because most people associate that bigger gun with bigger lights, but the tlr7HLX is so good that the 229 can actally serve as a concealed carry gun. just dont forget to have compatability for both modern and Legacy slides.
