These guns aren’t necessarily awful (although some of them are), but they are definitely not worth the price.

  1. A Noveske, a DD, a Radian/Seekins/Cobalt…doesn't functionally outperform a bone-stock Colt LE6920.

The 6920 is almost exactly the same M4 we fought the GWOT with, and trust me (or don't, I don't honestly care) it will absolutely get the job done.

  2. If you want a $2000+ AR-15, then put together your own and patiently wait for sales. I just purchased a Daniel Defense DDM4V7 for $1549. I have not received it yet. I am rather excited to see what all the hype is. I certainly would not have bought one of it was over 2K.

  3. I have a Live Free Armory Apollo 11 and it's a great entry level 2011. I upgrade the ignition kit, trigger and recoil springs, Handgrip and toolless guide rod and I'd put it against a Staccato. I also own a Staccato CS and love it. But, 2011s can be made to function great with some customization. 2011s require you to break them in. It's not for everybody.

  4. Man, I cant get behind your opinion on the grisan 2311. I own one, I love it. I did add a little to it and did NOT use the perry sight that comes with it but for what I paid into it it fills my needs and shoots super consistent. I have shot the Prodigy, staccato etc and dont get me wrong I can see the difference in them but when I'm less hundreds of dollars less for it.. it was worth it.

  5. I got a HK G36, thing runs like a champ until you get some hard primer Mil spec ammo and sometimes the hammer, just doent have enough… "Power". But besides that, never any issues. However, what about AKs up towards 2k+?

  6. Best way to buy an AR is to build your own. If you have patience wait till the expensive part’s are on sale.( holiday’s like 4th of July, Black Friday etc.) I’ve gotten Geissele trigger’s for $149 and I bought my Lantac BCG for about the same.

  7. If I was to recommend a quality AR for a good price, I'd recommend Springfield Saint Victor, I've a .308 Saint Victor for 6-7 years and it's been amazing. No issues. Although you'll have to buy a special torx plus ipr20 bit to reinstall the handguard that will probably eventually come loose.ine didn't come loose until a few weeks ago so it took a long time. But if you use any other bit than the one listed above, you'll strip it. Guaranteed and I have to say I like the BCM GUNFIGHTER furniture that comes on them more than Magpul but that's me.

  8. I’m sorry, but all this talk about BCM. The first time I go higher than my PSAs which have never given me a problem in four years, I get a BCM and the buffer spring detent breaks within five hundred rounds. Say what you will, but compared to my experience with PSA, this this things a p.o.s. BCM wants ME to fix it with another one of their detents which already broke once or pay additional transfer fees to ship it to them. I can’t respect that. Guns that aren’t worth it to me now is any AR over 1000. I would trust PSA, or Smith. I wouldn’t trust ruger because the LCP max was a dog pile that needed a stronger buffer spring which has been demonstrated on YT and is my experience.can you imagine a detent spring breaking within 500 rounds? Well, if you can they should have installed a backup.

  9. Love your reviews. I'm a collector and a BUDGET buyer. I have been able to snag some high end used ARs a DD4V7LW for $1,187 and an LWRC M6-SPR for $1,004. I have a few Colt LEs as well but enjoy shooting bullpups too. I bought a new AUG for $1,634. I traded a $734 MILSURP bolt action for a Garand and that for a used Tavor SAR. Just snagged a used Hellion for just under $1,200. Deals are out there if you are patient.

  10. ''You live in a state that infringes on your right'' Typical: when you don't get bothered by living in a country that does not give you healthcare for your hard earned taxes you pay them by make a huge fuss about not being able to buy any gun you want. I'm a gun guy myself but there are definely more important priorities than having firearms.
