Bet hornady’s suppressors would be cheaper no dout😂 Let’s get a podcast on 6.8 spc/2 building my first one and you never really hear about it anymore! I know, I know, there’s better calibers but it’s still a valid deer and hog round!
You’re too soft on Hornady wade. they’re resting on their laurels and pumping out nothing but slop in the last couple of years in hopes we’re all stupid enough to buy in. This cartridge is not for the average shooter or even a “savvy” shooter as you put it, may be fun for a guy with a press who likes to tinker. It’s a poorly conceived cartridge that offers me and you nothing over the blackout cartridges.

Wouldn't a 30cal arc basically be a 7.62×39? It be nice to actually be able to use 308 bullets since 7.62×39 bullets are slightly bigger or smaller? Than actual 308 bullets

Hornady Is NOT selling the 307gr .338 dia. Sub-X bullets to reloaders either by the way dk if they would sell bulk to ammo manufacturers I would assume they would so you wade would probably be ok to get them but I called and they said no, and they have NO plans to do so. They screwed me on a 6arc die being 15 thou. too small at the base and would Casuse a "Belt" to form on the base of the case I ruined probably 100 pieces of brass before I realized it after they assured me it was my fault. They're on strike 2 now for the sub-x cop out

I'm just surprised hornady didn't steal the 22 creed an take all the credit from horizon firearms… i would have to guess its because horizon has the money to sue hornady… 🤷♂️

I think hornady should build rifles specifically for their ammo.
I tried the 6mm aeromatch bullets and they were way worse than the berger. I'm kinda interested in the 25 creedmoor but if i ever get one and start loading for it I'll be using alpha brass.
like hornady but I really wish they would quit the lying. no doubt those guys are smart and knowledgeable but its past the point of "misleading".
I just built a 338 Arc upper and got to the range with it a couple of weeks ago. I ran a 20rd box of Hornady 307g Subsonic through it. Ran great. Cycled fine and locked bolt back on the empty mag. Shot a pretty tight group, right at an inch with a red dot at 25 yards. Wilson stripped upper. Faxon 9" 1-5 twist barrel. Pistol length gas tube. Supurlative Arms adjustable gas block. Trybe defense 6.5 grandel type 2 bolt carrier. Dead Air Mojave 9 suppressor. Geissele Superduty lower SBR with a H1 buffer, Geissele Super 42 Buffer Spring. Duramag 400 Ledgend 10rd magazine. I only had time to shoot one box but I was glad to see it ate 20 rds without a hiccup.
