
First range test… and we’ve got issues! My Aero Precision M4E1 Pro Series AR-15 isn’t cycling correctly at the range, and I’m breaking down exactly what’s happening.
The Problem:
Full mag? The gun jams after the first shot
Single round? Fires, but BCG won’t lock back
Based on these symptoms – Possible causes? Could be a BCG defect, gas system issue, or buffer problem
Making the Most of It:
Instead of calling it a day, I worked on zeroing my optic and testing the trigger—and aside from the cycling issue, this build feels incredible!

Next Steps:
I’ll start troubleshooting with a lighter buffer spring before considering sending it back to Aero Precision. Their customer service is top-tier, so I know I’ll get it figured out.
