  1. On the MD-25 you said Interestingly for passive aiming you do actually "REALLY LIKE" the big knob so you can grab on it and crank on it! Then when you categorize the MD-25 the "big huge knob" on the side held the $199.00 ACSS reticle MD-25 from getting a higher rating… The $900.00 17 yr old even BIGGER knob standard red dot T-2 is What's worth YOUR money??? I can buy a PSA AR with a PA MD-25 and a PA 3x micro magnifier with the PA flip to the side mount and ammo for the price of the Aimpoint. If you wear sunglasses or have tint on your car or truck you can appreciate the Oakley like tint on the MD-25. S rated means… Spend A lot of money, Seriously Old Technology and Standards

  2. Check out the Holosun HS515GM. I think it makes up for the 510's short-comings. And you can use a Unity Fast Mount with it. That's what I have on my rifle. Been running it for 3 yrs now. BTW, it comes with kill-flash!

  3. Only issue with holosun is sometimes they don’t do the coating properly so the dot struggles on bright days. Out of the 5 holosun I have only one has this issues. That being said once get over $300 for a holosun. Just by the Aimpoint duty rds. Works acceptable with NV. Always bright enough. Main con is weird height and buttons.

  4. I have 1 eotech and it ended up on a 12ga bullpup. For all my red dot rifle builds I set them up with the holosun 403 line. The shake awake is hard to get away from, and with solar they just work whenever I need them.

  5. I have 2 Holosun 510c's.. I am 2 months shy of 10years from the day I got my first one.. As I remember the wife got it for me for Xmas for my BCM 14.5.. I installed it that day, installed a Duracell 2032.. and to this day the battery tray has never been opened.. I shoot that rifle as much or more than any I own.. I take it out in the back 40 on the range prob 8-10 times a year. Its the most amazing battery life I have ever had.. Its way tougher than given credit.. fell out of my SXS bed on a gravel road, dented my BCM rail.. That titanium shield is prob the key to its toughness.. And lastly, I couldn't believe when I was watching first person Ukraine combat videos a couple weeks ago and saw several videos that had guys with 510c's on AK's on a couple CZ Bren 2's, AR's.. I was not really surprised, but cool to see its gonna get well tested and properly vetted.. And honestly I would love to see a gen 2 with a few specific upgrades at $400-450..

  6. I may need to give up on my Vortex UH1 Gen2 for an EOtech EXPS. I’ve had the Vortex battery go dead a few times in my safe, even when I have it turned off. I’ve returned it to Vortex for repair they said the zombie battery drain should not be an issue but it’s still draining when powered off. I keep a spare in my grip but if it’s going to be dead when I pick it up…. I’ve only had one other optic battery go dead and it was a Riton X3. Never had any issues with half a Sig Romeo, Trijicon MRO and half dozen Holosun.

  7. I love the Holosun 510C. I have two of them, with with the magnifier on a PSA AK47 GF5 and another as a backup offset red dot on a DDM4 V7 Limited Series along with an LPVO.
