We continue the torture test of the DI BCM AR15 rifle using Federal ammo. Does the rifle make it to 8600 rounds? There’s no oil, no cleaning and it’s taken 5 years to do this test in heat and cold.

  1. I have their lightweight 16" enhanced MLOK upper that I bought directly from their website for about $960 delivered to my door.
Total BCM, with BCG and Gunfighter charging handle. It is fantastic, with mid-length gas system and Mod1 comp, very smooth recoil impulse.

Notice how many mag dumps he did and not even a puff of smoke from the gas block.

Try that with a cheap upper.

  2. MAC I saw where you you answered a comment on like the third video in this series and you said it was a standard profile barrel. It sure looks like the Enhanced lightweight barrel model to me. Sorry if you already answered.

  3. Love my 14.5 BFH. Just ordered the FDE bolt carrier group yesterday for it and throwing my old BCM bolt carrier in my first ar. This is probably the best marketing for BCM out there. Shows how reliable it is.

  4. I know of a Colt Le6920 that went 20,000 rounds and was cleaned once. I think he did have few malfunctions though, less than 5. The whole "DIs" aren't reliable myth is long dead to people who actually shoot.

  5. Folks would often not believe me when I told them we cleaned our guns with mineral spirit rags downrange. They'd function fine bone dry, not so much however if the moon dust they called sand got in and clung to the CLP. There's no place that shit didn't get into.
