Picked this up when I first started getting into NV on the civi side of life and its been an awesome unit for the money, I highly recommend it to anyone needing a IR unit on the cheep or want something that is small and lightweight with respecible performance.

U should try the dirv from US night vision and ariskadefense ,they have a vid laser for 500 and then vis and ir laser version for 8 then one with all three including it Illuminator for $2000 ,from ariskadefense and they are powerful
Where did you pick this model up ?
does the dual switch have normal surefire connection for the light? I have one of the IR eye safe's and it really is a winner.
Can you go into the differences between the VIR II and the IRW?
