Ever wonder if AR 15s are really a big threat in our country? Or is it basically the same as the M16 or M4? And what’s the deal with those .223 or 5.56 bullets? Do they go boom on impact, or are they no deadlier than your average .22 caliber?

Well, in this video, we’re gonna dive into some of the lies around the AR 15 propagated by both camps: pro, and anti 2A. Just a quick disclaimer in case any of you YouTube bigwigs are watching, nothing I say in this video is meant to stir up violence or anything like that. So, let’s start with the pro 2A community’s lies.

  1. One thing that needs more context is the "Machineguns are illegal"… Modern Machineguns are in fact illegal for civilians to own. Civilians can not own anything made after May of 1986 when the Hughes Amendment of the 1986 FOPA went into affect. The only machineguns that civilian can own if they go though the painstaking process are those which were made and registered by May 19th, 1986. Anything after that can only be owned / possessed by Govt's and SOT paying FFL's.

  2. Right out the gate, ANYONE claiming that the .223 is harmless would be ROUNDLY shouted down by BOTH sides of the 2A argument. The pro-gun side, where the folks KNOW THINGS about firearms, would risk their reputation and standing in our community by spewing such verbal excrement. You're wrong here.

  7. I have a disagreement with you about the ar15 and m16/m4 being the same because let’s say you have all the ffl certs and stuff you need to convert an ar15 to full auto it’s still an ar15 but it’s at that point actually identical to an m4

  8. I have never heard anyone say that the 223 round is harmless. I have heard that it is a high powered round. Heard, you can't use it for hunting because it will disintegrate the meat. Lies. It is not a high powered round. Big game rifles shoot much larger bullets and therefore are more powerful. The average weight of a 223 round is 55 – 62 grains while a 30-.06 round is 150 – 180 grains. I would not use a 223 round or 556 round to hunt deer. The military is moving away from the 223 because it is actually under powered for the battle field.
