  1. I guess I don't understand what you mean by not liking the "flat butt pad" in the back of the B5 stock..
Every stock on the table is flat in the back, so I don't understand the argument.

  2. The more vertical grips are better on every rifle IMO.. If someone made a perfectly vertical grip– I'd use it (if it was cheap). I usually go for the K grip myself. K2 is second best.. then the gunfighter, etc. I'd rather have a perfectly straight vertical grip.. but the only one I seen was super expensive.

  3. The grip angle vs length of pull thing is such a big consideration. One of mine is set up as a 11.5 shorty AR pistol, I have the brace in tight. The A2 angle grip is so bad for my wrist holding the A2. I 3D printed a new grip that has a much more vertical angle and it's been cash money. As far as a foregrip, I think less is more. Trying to slot your gun through a VTAC barrier with a broomhandle sticking out, flashlight, IR etc is just one more thing that can get hung up. At the very most I go with a small "bikini" hand stop just to use as an index point.

  4. I just got a BCM KAG to try for the first time. I actually really like it. Not sure why it took me so long to finally buy one. But I also just got a True North K2 grip stop, which immediately became my favorite "fore grip"

I used to be obsessed with thiccc stocks like the STR, SL-S and B5, but now I'm all about the slimmer bois. My favorite is the CTR or SL and the BCM Mod 0 (non-sop mod)

  5. Having a vertical grip on shorter rails definitely eases the tension in your wrist. For demonstration holding your hand out in front of you as if you're holding a rail. Bring your hand back towards your chest while maintaining a straight line as if that rail continued towards your body. You'll notice it starts to become uncomfortable. So on SBRs and M4A1s I prefer a vert grip to reduce the angle of my hand.

  6. I love the discussion, although I find the pistol grip logic a bit odd. In my opinion, length of pull is adjusted to the shooter and not a scope's eye relief. You can obtain proper eye relief for an LPVO in the mount without compromising the optimal length of pull for your body. I will concede that with ACOGs, you may have to shorten the length of pull with those due to the extremely short eye relief. On the rifle you demonstrated set up for the tactical games, you have plenty of room in that mount to push the optic farther forward if you don't want the stock all the way back.

  7. I like a more vertical pistol grip like the ones from BCM or B5 P22 but they could have a better 360 degree checkering. Dont like the K2 beavertail. They should make a version without a beavertail or even a Miad version of the K2

  8. Fitment is unique but a general rule is that rifles should come to the shooter naturally. I adjust the stock so that my trigger hand has no tension by default, its neither pushing or pulling the grip so I can operate the trigger separate from steering the gun. For B5 S/M hands should use the p22 grip and L/XL should use the p23 – having batteries in the insert may help with balance too. For the stock Bravo for chubby cheeks Sopmod for skinny cheeks. I use a Magpul VFG as it has 6 really good uses including monopod, barrier brace, boxer grip for terrain and endurance etc.

  9. Put whatever the fuck you want on it 😂 Everybody steals ideology and gear from the next guy so whats the point? Today everyone is running those dumbass Emissary grips and they will eventually go away when a new looking grip comes out and some no talent YouTuber does a review on it

  10. On the note of that "hot spot" i really like the BCM grip, but I get that same thing further back. I curred mine by cutting a radius into the corners of the grip that present aft of the receivers ears on both sides. Basically just washed out the corners of the grip behind the triggergaurd with a series of rounded needle files.

  11. This is a great video. You should also do a video dedicated to what parts you should select. (I.e. trigger, lower parts kit, buffers/spring, upper, bcg, etc.) i inso that you briefly cover these topics in other videos, but you dint have a dedicated video for it.
