Red vs. green, that is the question! In this video JB goes over the benefits of a green reticle and why you may want to consider buying one…or three. Long story short, green is easier to see and can help if you are color blind or have certain astigmatism.

  1. My opinion – I have both for pistol and rifles. And honestly I think it doesn’t matter. Green looks “cooler” to me but I notice no performance difference and I just adjust my brightness depending on the day. With that said I do carry a red dot, but I think they are a negligible difference tbh.

  2. A better question is why don't you guys offer other reticle options when you have literally limitless possibilities with holographic emitters. And personally, I would like to see an amber/gold reticle.

  3. Eotech is going to be the dinosaur of holographic sights if they arent already. I was hugely mistaken to buy one not knowing its just an overpriced red dot. Hollosun and Sig now offer a world of difference for not much more.

  4. Stop doing the weird off-center camera angle where we watch them talk to the camera instead of us that you do in every video. It breaks user engagement and is just weird.

  5. Unless you live in Utah or Arizona where the environment is mostly red, getting a green reticle isn't ideal. Having a red reticle makes the most sense if you live in an environment that has grass and trees which is where most people live.

  6. I got a green one as a gift. Was t sure it was a fake or not, called Eotech support, and they confirmed it was the real deal in about one minute.
The only time I’ve ever needed Eotech support, it the experience was really good.

  7. How about you update your holographic sights instead? You guys haven't made a single meaningful design/performance upgrade to your optics in well over a decade. And all you really did was go from AA to CR123! You are way too comfortable, and your competition is surpassing you, innovate or die.
