The Fujifilm X100V has a cult following right now. Over two years after it’s release, this camera is impossible to find brand new and/or sells new for a premium. Even non-Fujifilm photographers and videographers own an X100V as the sole Fujifilm camera in their kit. It’s one of my favorite cameras ever, perhaps my favorite ever. What do you think: is the Fujifilm X100V overrated or worth the hype?

My dream camera! Too bad it’s crazy expensive, but I’m considering a the lower price one which is the X-T30 II.
Is this any good?
Absolutely worth it. It brought me out of a rut and got me to love taking random photos every day again without needing them to be ‘perfect’ ♥️ and I can take it everywhere. Love the weather sealing as well for lake and beach trips.

23mm doesn’t work for me… bought the original x100 12 years ago…
In Germany it’s not possible to buy them except you pay up to 2000€ for used one. No thanks. I’d rather keep my a7iii and run it with a 35mm 2.8 samyang. Still bigger, I know. Still no film-simulation, I know. -> but far more versatile.

Fuji x100v is nice but Leica Q and Q2 is just another level of image quality in my opinion.
I bought a used Sony RX1R for less than £600 which is more than half the price of Fujifilm x100v. With a 24 megapixel full frame sensor the image quality is superior. I wouldn't change it for the Fuji.
