I agree about the buying and building ars. I was always told buy a cheap AR for your first. Get familiar with the flatform, learn to clean/ take them apart, and to see want you like. This just build the AR to your likings and use.
A store bought and can general purpose AR. Vs building one in 9 mm as plinker or 762×51 or 308 as a DNR. Or build one to take out yote and hogs with.
