  1. Hello Joe, thank you for the information, I thought I had seen one of your YouTube videos before when you spoke it all came back to me, your use of swear words. The Bible says, But the things that proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and those defile the man. The words you say are a reflection of what is in your heart, your heart is like a tree, good trees bear good fruit evil trees bad fruit. After hearing what you said and the things your father imparted to you I'm guessing your father was a lot like mine caught up in the things of the world and all that goes along with it. Our father's or at least mine should have been more concerned about those around him and less about his own desires in life. As a result of all this if you were like me your foot never graced the front steps of a church, growing up what I knew about God you could have put in a thimble. God however had not forgotten me nor has he forsaken me he is my real father. I will tell you about the father I know today who is kind, merciful, and loving and he said he would never leave me nor forsake me.

It is a long story God kept putting Christians in my path and shared the gospel and I did not want to hear. Everywhere I turned there they were, people I worked with, the person who cut my hair, old high school friends, etc. I was living in and around Seattle, WA, and moved to Bellingham, WA to get away from things little did I know that my head was still attached to my neck and I brought all my problems with me. God was not done with me. I began playing in a softball league with my older brother the team was made up of lawyers and public defenders who were smoking marijuana and using cocaine all the time. I had known these guys for years but unbeknownst to me the second base was a pastor, how he meet up with these guys I'll never know. My brother sensing I was struggling at that time said why don't you go talk to Fred, why he said that I don't know, and up until today he is not a Christian and doesn't want to hear it.

I wandered down the street to where the church was and started talking to Fred, the power of God then came over when I confessed my sins and I was bawling like crazy. I know now why God brought me up there for that diving appointment and shortly thereafter I moved back to the Seattle area. Not knowing what really had happened God began to change me the things I use to say I no longer said, the things I use to do I no longer did. That was in the August of 1981 and I have never been the same since. Could it be that God has put people or circumstances or experiences before you, but your heart has been hard and you have ignored the call of the Holy Spirit? Jesus came to this earth not so much to live but to die.

Jesus went to the cross and took on the sins of the world, mine, yours, and everybody else's, he shed his sinless blood he paid the price for our iniquity and sin. Did you know that there is only one unpardonable sin and that is rejecting the call on your life by the Holy Spirit? Jesus said," I came to save the sick for the well have no need for a doctor." Those that have sinned see their sin and those who say I have no need for a doctor are blind to their sin and have no need for healing. What they are doing is rejecting God and his salvation saying to Him they have no need for Him. Did you know that God doesn't send anyone to hell you do it when you reject Him. God then gives you the desire of your heart and lets you live a life separate from Him for all eternity.

The Bible says "We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." Good works won't save you the Bible says they are like filthy rags, how then can one be saved? If your good works won't save you what will, humble yourself before God and repent of your sin and ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. To repent of your sins means to turn away and go in another direction. The only thing you can contribute to your salvation is your sin. Jesus said that when you repent you become born again, he will cleanse you of all unrighteousness and give you a new heart, mind, and eternal life and a peace that passes understanding that can't be found in this world.

He will also give you the Holy Spirit, He will come into your life and dwell in you and guide you in all things. So what is it going to be, keep living the life you have been living which is unpleasing to God, or repent and be given a new life. We are not in the end times we are in the last days the second coming of Jesus draws near and the tribulation period is around the corner. Just remember, God is only as far away as your knees are to the floor.

  2. You're a cool guy. I am probably gonna get a Tikka Varmint for deer. I am about to get a 8x Sig scope. I am calculating according to gun cost. If the gun cost $1,000, isn't it wrong to spend $600 on a scope?
