  1. Surprised the title stated BEST 22 rifle scopes and didn't even include the Leupold VX Freedom EFR 3-9x33AO or VX-3HD EFR 6.5-20x40AO or any of the side focus 30mm Leupolds with at least 25 yard minimum side focus parallax. I started with a Simmons 22 rimfire scope and thought it was really junk after comparing it to other brands of scopes including the unbelievably nice Centerpoint PLT 3-12×44 30mm side focus with SFP BDC reticle LR312SFT2 which usually sells for around $100 and currently on sale at Walmart for around $60 free shipping and free returns or eBay for around $75-$85. and believe it or not I actually upgraded some Leupold VX Freedom EFRs to the cheaper Centerpoint 3-12×44 30mm side focus for more magnification and easier to use the side focus and a much wider angle field of view. All I needed was the picatinny to 3/8 dovetail adapters from eBay for $8 for 2 or $12 for 4 since it already includes 30mm picatinny rings. I upgraded my Vortex Crossfires and Crossfire 2s with the Centerpoints as well for much better wider FOV and image quality and easier to see and more real world useable BDC reticle. The other Centerpoint scopes are totally junk, just this specific model is fantastic. Don't have to fuss with adjusting the side focus parallax all the time with this Centerpoint either it's more like a set it and forget it.

The other scopes I'd personally recommend are the Tract Optics Tekoa 4-16×44 15 yard minimum side focus with tall turret zero stop kit and sunshade made in Japan with German Schott glass on sale for $559.99 and it's really worth it.

The other is the fantastic Chinese made Athlon Midas Tac 4-16×44 FFP and 6-24×50 FFP both with 10 yard minimum side focus and zero stops for $500-$600 and the 4.5-27×50 MIdas BTR Gen 2 HD SFP illuminated Mil reticle 30yard minimum side focus $470 on sale at Amazon with free shipping and free returns normally $599.99 or if FFP is preferred the Ares BTR Gen 2 4.5-27×50 25 yard minimum side focus on sale at Amazon for
$609-$610 free shipping and free returns regularly $869.99. These have really exceptionally nice class leading glass and very reliable turrets with zero stops. I used to be a Vortex fan until I got a taste of a Midas Tac and boy what a huge difference in quality in glass and turrets.

The Chinese made Burris Signature HD scopes with 25 yard side focus specially their 3-15×44 and 5-25×50 with illuminated E3 reticle or FFP 6.5 Creedmor reticles are utterly fantastic too you wouldn't even think they were actually made in China. Buy then when they go in sale for $349.99, $449.99, and $500 it's really crazy to pay more than $500 for Chinese made scopes since they probably only cost around $100 maximum to manufacture. IMHO $600 should be the absolute maximum anyone should spend on any made in China scopes regardless of brand and if spending more than $600 go fir not made in China such as Tract Optics, Meopta, other Philippines made Burris, Philippines made Primary Arms GLX, Japan made Primary Arms PLX, Sightron, Zeiss Conquest V4, Athlon Cronus BTR Gen 2 only when on sale for $999-$1299 maximum, just stay away from Japan made Ritons, Blackhounds, Brownells, APEX RIVALs, Crimson Trace due to potentially very poor QC and lack of reliability coming out of sub standard way below average quality Japan Optics factory.

Forgot to mention Clearidge made in Japan have adjustable objective AO very nice and affordable compared to the Leupold VX Freedom EFR.

The other affordable made in China scopes are the Mueller APV 3-9x with adjustable objective AO under $150 or side focus if you need a decent much better than average 8-32x under $250. Keep your receipt since their lifetime warranty requires proof of purchase and only the original owners have a lifetime warranty when buying Mueller brand.

Avoid buying Bushnell since it's likely they may screw you over come warranty time they have an F rating according to the BBB for screwing over way too many of their customers over not honoring their own lifetime warranty.

  2. For your number one choice, I would not get a 9X or 12X scope for a 22 unless it has an adjustable objective. Many of the scopes that are 9X and above have a fixed parallax of 100 or 150 yards.

  3. You don't need a rimfire rifle scope, you can spend money on normal scopes and get better quality in each of these lines.

  4. Top 5 best scopes at #4 not a scope wtf. You can tell when someone is just making a video to make money or they actually have a passion for what they are covering. Just in case you can't tell this is a video for the $$$ unfortunately YouTube doesn't pay guntubers squat so…….what a dummy
