  1. Better idea: Any politician that attempts to introduce legislation that ignores, circumvents, or defies the 2nd Amendmdnt can be tried as a traitor and locked up in prison for life.

  2. No hope for Constitutional gun rights with Biden in office, criminals have it better they follow no laws and get a pass with gun crimes back on the street with bail.

  3. Were the AR-15 to be declared the National Firearm of the United States of Amirian and DemonKKKraps attempt to pass legislation that it is then the only firearm permitted, the the bald eagle, being the National Bird, would logically be the only bird allowed to fly, protect its young, live, hunt, fish, and enjoy the blessings of its liberty. All other birds would have to be destroyed. Lovers of pet parakeets would head to the black market, and go hunting legislators!

  4. If so i think it should be the M1 Garand or even though I love the M1 b/c it protected my pampy (Grandfather) in WW2 or something like the Musket that gave us our independence in the first place and gave us our constitutional rights 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

  5. The first time I encountered an AR-15 in the early '80's I hated it. I thought it was ugly, under powered and unwieldy. Then in the early 2000's I built one as a project. Now I think they are a fun gun that everyone should try at least once. This gun should be America's Gun because like Americans it comes in all shapes, sizes, colors and strengths (calibers).

  6. His heart may be in the right place but it's not needed. Anything the government does that is not needed, is a precedent for the government to do more, not less. We need government to be backed off our lives.

  7. I think it's great. And technically speaking it is probably the most popular style firearm that's owned by a majority of American right alongside the 1911 and 12 gauge pump action.

  8. I understand why they are choosing the AR-15, to try and protect it. It should not need that protection, onebof the more recent SCOTUS 2A wins, Heller i believe included language by the justice's about guns and other items in common use, which in itself should protect the AR-15.
There are lots of other candidates for national gun if you are going to create such a thing.
The .45 Colt Peacemaker jumps to mind, as do the M1 Garand, Tommy Gun,
1911 Colt 45, the Kentucky Rifle. The list is almost endless. I agree this is something that might come back to bite you.

  9. Slippery slope.. if it happens, it’ll be the only firearm to be protected by the 2nd amendment. All firearms and defensive arms, including military weapons, are protected by the constitution

  10. I don't think it's a good idea. I think it's gonna go into text, history, and tradition and end up biting us in the ass in the long run. I believe that the way it is the written, to bear arms, meaning all arms not one specific type of anything is best. Not to mention why would you want a beginner style rifle as your national firearm of the country? Our forefathers didn't put a musket on a flag they put a cannon & said come take it. See what I mean? If you're gonna open your mouth, go big or don't say that at all. Also you don't know what the future's gonna bring. They may come out with some Bad Ass laser guns & tell you to keep your little 223. Now your F👉👉👌ed.

  11. That bill I can and will stand behind even though I don't own an AR-15! I SUPPORT THE BILL OF RIGHTS WHICH IS A CONGRESSIONAL GUIDE AND DIRECTIVE OF THE RIGHTS CONGRESS IS TO SUPPORT AND DEFEND AND UNFORTUNATELY FOR GUN CONTROL FREAKY IDIOTS, THE 2A IS ONE OF THOSE RIGHTS!!

  12. It’s already “Americas Gun.” It’s unapologetically the rifle of choice for Americans of all ages all over the country. Firearm sells have spoken far as the AR—15 is concerned.
