We had one question: How many solid wood doors does it
take to stop a bullet?
So we lined up 12 extremely heavy solid wood doors in
front of Fred and shot them with every gun we own —
starting from a .22 all the way up to the 50 cal.
What we did NOT expect was door number 6 to become
basically bulletproof against four guns in a row.
Here’s the full scoreboard:
🚪 .22 — Stopped inside door 1. Zero doors penetrated.
🚪 .380 — Clean through one door. Stopped in door 2.
🚪 9mm — Clean through two doors.
🚪 .45 ACP — Also two doors. Tied the 9mm.
🚪 .44 Magnum — FOUR doors. Big jump. New leader.
🚪 Desert Eagle 50 AE — Five doors.
Then door 6 stopped it cold.
🚪 AR-15 Green Tip 5.56 — Also five doors.
Door 6 stopped it too.
🚪 AK-47 7.62 — Five doors.
Door 6 stopped it again.
🚪 .308 SCAR — Five doors.
Door 6 stopped it. Fourth gun in a row.
🚪 12 Gauge Slug — Only four doors.
Lost to handguns.
🚪 30-06 Deer Rifle — Five doors.
Made the biggest bulge in door 6 yet.
Still didn’t go through.
🚪 50 CAL — Clean through SEVEN doors.
Finally beat door 6.
Stopped inside door 8.
Door number 6 stopped the Desert Eagle, the AR-15,
the AK-47, and the .308 back to back.
The 50 cal won — but only by two doors more than
four other guns that cost a fraction of the price.
Also Parker took down a bear inside a bank in
Anchorage Alaska with a 44 Magnum. The bear
was withdrawing cash. Parker gave him a noogie.
