SR556 was the coolest one! Best piston every all plated everything including piston system and CHF pinned 14" barrel!!!!

I thought RRA was on the black list since their donation to anti-2A politicians and FFL screwed off ??

Back when Rock River was the go to gun for a good AR haha I even remember way back in 05 DPMS was considered the best AR. Times have changed.

It's cool, but supposedly they never got it worked out to function with suppressors.

I have an RRA PDS 8-inch pistol in .223. It works great with a single point sling off the picatinny rail on back of the receiver. The sling really allows for good stabilization and no brace needed to make good shots inside 100 yards with Eotech X2. It really barks with that short barrel!

The CMMG Dissent is very similar. I might have to get one in 300 blk.

Great Youtube page, watch it all the time. But word of advice, all these SHORTS was Youtube's quick way of CATERGORIZING who done what in a quicker fashion. Shorts was used to then flag/STRIKE your videos. Shorts was a quick analyzer for gun content, and other things to come that they will block or strike.

Rip. Rra really was great and went big until they got their first dea contract and it went to their heads. I still have their first gen, 2 stage trigger. It's amazing.

Something about the gas block would get over gas but wasn't something you could fix with just the adjustable gas block

Everything old is new again. Could be refined into a true competitor with today's offerings. It's amazing how many attempts predate the SIG. Some good, some failures to learn from.

The Robinson Armament XCR-L also predates the MCX. They're also caliber conversion too…. 5.56mm/300blk, 7.62X39/5.45×39, 6.5 Grendal, 6.8 SPC….

Had one for a long time. It was a heavy boi…..but it was a awesome gun.

Rock River treats their customers like trash, ask people that delt with them at the Camp Perry meets. Wouldn't buy a thing from them.

Was that made before or after they funded anti gun legislation in Illinois?

I just checked out their website and it just says “backordered indefinitely” a sad day.

Rock River Arms and Springfield Arms turned a blind eye to Illinois SB 1657 which would have been a death knell to many small sporting goods stores. May they both rot.

From Back in the day ! when maeketing said you Absolutly had to upgrade to a piston gun or it was unreliable or some ish like that !

Let's not forget the zm weapons lr300 (and para ordnance ttr) that had a folding stock on an AR-15 based rifle long before SIG did as well
