I got to look on the inside, and the system is obviously designed for massive expansion into carbines and longer rifles. These calibers look very similar to CMMG’s .22LR BANSHEE uppers, except with a different charging method and using a gas tube.

Upon relooking at the Dissent, I've realized it's just a new carrier, recoil assembly, and charging handle setup. It's still a DI AR upper, so is it really all that special?
Edit: Essentially, this means it's just a shorter Foxtrot Mike FM15 for more money.
