I got a gen 2 and wanted to love it. It’s refresh rate bothered me. Went back to eotech. Cleaner reticle to my eyes. I really really wanted to love it but couldn’t do it. The SIG Romeo 8 while not a holographic site is very crisp and well built. Battery life crushes holographic sites today. That’s next on my list to get.
The UH-1 Gen2 is no doubt a solid optic,but…the Eotech may just be a bit more rugged and durable. Clint at Classic Firearms did a great durability test between the 2 optics.Check it out if you get a chance!!
