Heard about this earlier today I didn't know this was for the UK military trials but now it make more sense as in the US we got the Urgi and the new sig rilfes
Why not a Universal AR/PCC design that has magwell inserts and barrel replacements to be able to run any Glock Pistol as a matching side arm. I understand the cash grab but I'll stick with my Ruger PCC in the mean time.

Don't believe it. I would be shocked if a Glock rifle didn't have a Glock-designed stock and pistol grip. Standard metal lower. Standard metal upper. Nothing about this shows any innovation that would compel someone to purchase it over an established AR brand.
I make bore scanners for various weapon systems and defense companies and Glock did purchase a 556 laser optical bore scanner from us recently
This brings what exactly to the table that is new or better?

If this turns out to be real, I may have to consider purchasing one if they become available to the general public. This may be the only other Glock I would consider purchasing other than the G19X.
