  1. I have a mutant 10” that I’ve been running for years hog hunting and I changed trigger and gas block I also run a SilencerCo Omega30. I had issues with the mag release at night dropping the mags when it was slung over my back and I was walking so I cut the bottom off and no issues. Yes it is a lil heavy but more reliable than any other ARAK I’ve ever seen.

  2. Might want to think about switching out the firing pin. I would think that cmmg would have a good one coming stock with the gun since most people shoot shit 7.62×39 rounds. I myself have never had light strikes with my kr103 but i have a buddy that got a 7.62×39 upper for his ar and had to get an “enhanced” firing pin. To my knowledge it just hits the primer better. Love the videos dude!

  3. I have a Mini-30. Steel ammo was only about ~90% reliable. Talking to Ruger, they stated that the Mini-30 is designed ONLY for SAAMI-spec ammo, which essentially means brass and boxer primers I was told. Could it be the same for the AK47?

Brass is about double the cost of steel but still cheap – about like FMJ 5.56, and was as readily available as 5.56 during the ammo "shortage." Anyway, looks like you've got this one licked. Love CMMG esp. the new Resolute. About to pull the trigger on a Mk 3 in 308.

  4. Hey man, don't worry about talking at length. I've always enjoyed your videos. I envy you getting to play with the latest and greatest toys. Me, I run a simple Stoner upper in 7.62 x 39 with very few issues, but never any light primer strikes. As long as I run 10 round mags I'm usually good to go. I like your emphasis on optimizing whatever it is you do have to work with. God bless and keep up the good advice & video. BTW, does the Resolute have a bolt release?

  5. I always wanted one of these cause I just think that bolt design is a tank. But I too don't like the stock, grip, or trigger. And for nearly $2000 I just can't justify it when I dont even like their stock stuff. I understand its a completely different system from both .223 and .308 platforms but that is hella steep. Someday I'll have one though. When money is not soo tight

Always love a little review video in the field Amantine

  6. Have 10” and 16” mutants for years 10” has SA Gasblock and gasport drilled out 2.80mm to run subs 💯. Built like tanks! My 16” likes 154 soft points tulammo groups 👍 Geissele SSA has worked best for me. When did they release a 12.5” ??
