  1. Every barrel likes something different. Some barrels will shoot 1/2" MOA @ 100yards with one type of ammo and the same barrel will do 4" MOA with another type of ammo. Also needs 5 shot groups for better info.

  2. Yes. BCM is the Gold Standard. I have the 11.3 ELW, Recce-14, and BCM Recce-16. I have a KAC and a DD. I will take the BCM over anything out there. Thousands of rounds through all of them, all with Surefire Suppressors, all have ran flawlessly.

  3. I think that BCM for a basic non-ambi gun is the beginning of where you should start. The moment you start spending more you should be looking for features like full ambidextrous lowers (not just an ambidextrous mag release or bolt release but all three controls.) You have to have a cold hammer forged barrel as well. I don’t own a BCM but have shot one, it is good gear. Much better value than a Daniel Defense which I do own, which I bought because I am fortunate enough to afford all very high end guns. Good review.

  4. After 1.5 years on waiting lists, I just receieved a BCM 16" keymod in the same FDE. Shoots great and is incredibly light compared to my 10.5" Aero pistol. BCM has great customer service also.

  5. Also I bet money that your groups will improve when you grip the handguard instead of shooting it just sitting on a bag. As a former recon marine and scout sniper, I personally experienced every rifle I used M16A4, M4A1, HK416, M110, M40A5 and M40A6, plus the personally owned rifles, all produced tighter groups when holding the forend, handguard, whatever you want to call it. The idea that the bullet leaves the gun so fast that the muzzle hops around and has no effect on accuracy isnt true, every shooting position should be attempting to mimic a vise. Thats my opinion, and you didnt ask for it, but oh well.
