  1. Hmm I'm not sure if I want an LVPO or just another etched prism 1x. I was thinking of getting the Aggressive Woodpecker because I found a good deal on it, but maybe not.

  2. The Burris is not China glass. I was surprised. Was considering another viper pst or a razor but found a Burris for $278… that is hard to pass up so I'm thinking ill get it and save up for the razor 1-10 for a long while, haha.

  3. 1:11 I seriously leaned in and was like "what the fuck is that thing!?". But hey, you know what, this this America. You do you booboo. I found a battle turkey for 250 on sale just recently, came with a vortex cantilever mount, need to get it zero'd and bring it out for some testing. The brightness on the gen 1 is absolutely appalling and I'm glad to say that the gen 2 is at least usable in daylight even if it's not as bright as a regular red dot. It's got a compartment for a spare battery in the right side turret cap which is nice. The eye box at 1x is somewhat forgiving, but not really quite as much at 6x, I'm curious how I can get it working if I'm in an odd shooting position and need the zoom. I might find myself hunting a little for the sweet spot. There is a little bit of fish-eye distortion at 1x which is a lot more noticeable indoors with things very close to you, but not so bad once you get into a more open outdoor space.

  4. Fortunately I run a vortex razor gen III on my 14.5, so I've never had any issues with my lpvo not being daylight bright, even out in the AZ desert. It's also imperceptibly close to a true 1x with very minimal fishbowling. I also run an eotech with a g45 on unity mounts for my sr-15 cqb. I'm really not sure which optics setup i like better though.

  5. You should take a look at the Sig Tango MSR 1-6x sfp lpvo. I just got one for my first AR since it seemed like a really nice starter scope, and all the reviews I saw for it were pretty much all positive, except for the people who were mad that the second focal plane lpvo they bought turned out to have a second focal plane reticle. Its MSRP is $500 and up until recently (I blame tax season) you could easily find it for $280-$300. I ended up picking mine up for $380

  6. What about a regular scope (actual sniper scope or maybe an ACOG or something) and a canted red dot? Or maybe a red dot on top if you don't care about height over bore that much for close range? Sure with either option the scope is gonna eat up your field of view when using the red dot, but do you think that's worth it for the speed and ease of use of a red dot?

  7. I am strongly considering putting an lpvo on my AR 300 blackout. I came across a fairly good deal on the strike eagle at roughly $80 under MSRP, but I wanted to do a little more research on it before I spent that money. This video helped quite a bit. Thank you for that. Cheers from Texas

  8. Lies. Hop doesn't have (or really need) a house. All of Hop's stuff can be put away in a storage locker while Hop is plugged into a charging port because he's a cyborg like Fedor Emelianenko. If anything, leaning against a wall for 10 minutes should suffice.

  9. Excellent review. It was a tossup between these two for my new AR build and this made all the difference. Went with the Burris over the Combat Canary.
