How about hand-loads of 300gr at 1050 fps 450 SMC? It seems possible, and it would be subsonic.

I prefer when what I shoot goes down and stays down. I looks to me like that 45 is underpowered. The 300 Blackout would be a better and more ethical choice.

My FFL calls me Banshee Boy since I’m no Glock fanboy. Banshees in 5.7×28, 9mm, 45acp & 10mm. My other toys are getting dusty. They are absolutely top notch. With a binary trigger, the 9 is outstanding. I put them up there with my 10mm Vector and Sig Rattler.
I would be curious to know what .45 ACP FMJ would do to hogs

It's a fine firearm and all, but why doesn't anyone seem to want to talk about how off CMMG's pricing structure is for the Banshee and Guard? Many other manufacturers make quite comparable AR9 and AR45 platforms for half the cost or less. The Banshee and Guard both cost $1500-1800, come with no sights or optic out of the box, an 8 lb. GI trigger, and nothing particularly special about it. The only thing that really sets it apart in any way is the delayed blowback system.

Would you choose this over a 6.5 inch 300 blk? Can't decide whether i want to buy this or build a 300 blk with a v seven 6.5 inch barrel. Would appreciate some advice!
