If you are used to the size of the old stinger, i would say you’d definitely enjoy this light. The new switch is very useful the battery life is much better. I wasn’t impressed with the 2,000 lumen claim, but I wasn’t able to truly test that aside from what I could see.

  1. Looking at retiring my old stinger from mechanic duty. Do you recon the grips will peel off over 5-10 years? Or do you think the intensity switch would be a place for coolant or oil to get it if it falls in a bucket of the stuff? I know it would be durable and survive the daily drop or two, but I am concerned about fluid entering through the switch.

  2. does your light shine a bright blue dot at the center of the beam?
i noticed this on mine, it has a blue dot at the center of the beam?

i kinda see it in your video at 14:00 mark when you move the light around, u see a purple/blue center spot in the beam.
