  1. I’ve watched this video 3 times just to make sure I didn’t miss anything. Just now noticed you didn’t use the chamber brush you showed us. I was expecting you to use it before you started using the patches. Did you just forget?

  2. Long time fan of your videos. Appreciate your historical knowledge and clear explanations.
Some feedback. Recently bought a Savage A10. Lubed it b4 going to the range. Followed your advice re very light oil on the bolt carrier. Careful to keep chamber dry and end of bolt dry. On 2 range trips, had trouble with: failure to extract and feeding. On second trip, the carrier became stuck. At hm, used gentle tapping of charging handle to free carrier. Then, used chamber brush to clean it well. Removed the carrier lube. Used thicker liquid Frog Lube on bolt and carrier. Left enough so it looked wet. On third range trip, the rifle worked perfectly. Apparently this A10 works best a little bit wet. Hickok45 and Sootch00 both suggest that a little wet might be better. My rifle seems to need more lube.
Thanks for this very good video. 😷😷🤔🤔

  3. Jamomatic, LOL, alot of guys in the Army only made marksman in basic because they were to busy unjamming there rifles, LOL, I made sharpshooter with 1 jam but I felt sorry for the guys who were having trouble qualifying cus there rifles jammed up so much , I never liked the AR style rifles I know they can be built but I dont care and of course everyone sais its only the vietnam era m16s that jam and I am not convinced, My wife just had to have a AR 15 so I bought her the smith and wesson M and P 15 and it didnt change My mind about AR s in the least, LOL it was jamming out of the box, maybe the ammo was crap I dont know but My old remington 742 doesnt jam in 30 06 unless I seriously abuse it .

  4. Good stuff! I went to Vietnam 1966, with a M14, artillery units didn't have M16s. Quoting G K Chesterton….pure gold! Thanks for your service, from one Vietnam Vet to another.

  5. Wow and I was always taught to operate a gun as wet and lubricated as possible (feel drops of lubricant/grease slinging off the bolt onto your arm from the bolt). That really shows me how easy it is to get caught up into lies.

  6. GunBlue is the best… and a man of faith, which is the best part imho. If you don't have salvation through JESUS, you have wasted your life for nothing, very regrettably. Hope you find HIM.
