I prefer to have several of each. π
Am having a little issue with one of the barrel manufacturers that I am currently attempting to problem solve on your 7.5 Xe what do you find to be a good reliable gas port diameter when I receive my barrel it was point 059 On a 8" 556 barrel and that's way too small I would appreciate some insight from the Motley crew down here in the comments section and let me know what they think For a heads up I have swapped out the bolt Carrier groups to help alleviate that short stroke in or non movement checked the gas block change the gas block and utilized every buffer a carbine up 2 and H3
I would love to know what barrel comp that was on the rifle.
Pistol. The 5.56 isn't really a battle rifle cartridge anyway, so no point carrying a full size rifle in that caliber .
you can still be liberal and enjoy and appreciate guns
What wrong with liberals?
I wrestled with the same dilemma for years. I finally decided on a 8.5in 300blk on a Spikes old school build.
I've got two Milspec rifles. Pretty much Semi Automatic M4s and M16s. To spec of the original weapon. And both are great. One is a Doublestar DSM4 and the other is a AR15A2 I put together
Rifle for velocity reason. I shoot mainly M193 because its cheaper.
What's that handguard.
Pistol coz fuck that tax stamp bs for sbr. Only tax stamp I'm willing to pay for are for suppressors
Heres a video we did awhile back showing how accurate a 7.5" is at 100 yards on water filled milk jugs and a cinder block brick with only 55gr 5.56 rounds. Keep in mind that a milk jug is the same size as a persons head! Enjoy.

nice great tools!!!! i just got a pistol i love it got it for a car gun
Pistol for homes, vehicles, and short excursions. Outside at distance rifle all day.
I'd go with both π There's no such thing as having too many guns.
16'' in mid length for a primary and a 7.5'' pistol length as a secondary π
I have 5.56 and 300 both with 16" and 10.5" barrels and love them all. I have been thinking on getting an upper 7.5" but still haven't decided if it will be a 5.56 or 300. Really enjoyed your video and your suggestions on components. Very cool pieces you showed on this video.
So what's your thoughts on the KAK Industries 4.75 barrel with the 1:5 twist?
ODB Jr is absolutely awesome Mike, you are by far the best! Itβs either with me in the truck or in a glass case behind my desk at the office, and admired by all. I already have the next one in mind and will email you all the details shortly. Hope the family is well brother, thank you!!
I love the AR9 PCC all day every day over a normal carbine rifle !!!! You just can maneuver a lot quicker especially in tighter spaces if need to and well they simply just have that all out sex appeal pardon the pun and they'll still reach out and do the job !!!
I prefer abolish the NFA.
Rural, I prefer minimum of 16" barrel. Urban, I prefer 10.5" but I do use a 7.5" in the car.
Nice Redcoat hat.
lol videos not tha same without a binary trigger involved. Keep up tha great work, u guys have some of top buildsπ
Gota love AR pistols πππͺπͺ
Rifle , I feel more confident!
Pistol for sure, especially due to its size and variations. That was a nice rifle build. It had damn near zero recoil.
