What is so special about pennies? Is it copper or something else?
just a question the silicon packet is like where you can see when you buy new shoes?
Dump the lens in hot water and epsom salt. It will knock it right out.
Heat is not good for a lens. My guy , heat softens grease used to lube the lens inards. . You’ll get grease specs all over the lens. You’ll learn.
That is NOT a cheap lens…. Good job bro!!!
Did this fix stick or did it reoccur
Awesome video I have an 40 year 35 mm zoom lens with noticeable fungus in the lens inside the top glass. I will try your process with that and cross my fingers.
I had a small compact superzoom Panasonic Lumix camera at the bottom of a cooler bag in the rain and it got really wet inside the camera so I put it in a ziplock bag filled up with regular uncooked RICE nothing else and ended up leaving it there for quite awhile like a whole month and all the moisture came out of the camera and it worked fine and I used it for a year then sold it. Of course you can't put rice inside a bag with an open lens but perhaps it would also work on a cell phone.
This is the first time I've watched one of your video's and it was a very well thought out and informative video!
I'm wondering if the same thing could be done to a camera?
Again a great video!
Best of luck in your photography journey!
Duane
Stop talking and fix the thing
Hey I have a canon camera. My 85mm lens have fogged inside how do I get the fogged from the inside of the lens buddy.
After 3 minutes of waffle I gave up. Deliver the information and don't go on and on and on and on and on with stories.
Very interesting. I noticed a tiny mite or 'thing' living in my lens and as it traversed my lens multiple times, it left a residue on it – causing it to fog up. I intended to take it to a camera shop to be internally cleaned, but the whole lockdown thing began and I put the camera away for 9 months – with a silica bag inside the case. I tried the camera today and it seems to have cleared up!
Anyway, I'll give this a go – just to be extra-obsessive. Thank you.
Would a sock work? Just worried about the band breaking and having coins bouncing in the dryer
My name is rob too, and I soaked my lens on the water damn it
What a waste of 15 min
Thx u God bless
Update I put my lens over the oven with the oven on low and opened the door. It fixed it. Thx to Jesus .
Fuck dude! Get to it and quit rambling!!!
To much talk
would rice also work?
Does this work on phone cameras Like doing all of that but instead of just the lens the whole phone?
bro my phone has condensation in the camera lenses and I've been trying to get it out I'm gonna use rice, towels and pennies in front of the space heater like u did wish me luck
'create a vortex' – bahahahahahahaha are you high?
