  1. I had a small compact superzoom Panasonic Lumix camera at the bottom of a cooler bag in the rain and it got really wet inside the camera so I put it in a ziplock bag filled up with regular uncooked RICE nothing else and ended up leaving it there for quite awhile like a whole month and all the moisture came out of the camera and it worked fine and I used it for a year then sold it. Of course you can't put rice inside a bag with an open lens but perhaps it would also work on a cell phone.

  2. This is the first time I've watched one of your video's and it was a very well thought out and informative video!

I'm wondering if the same thing could be done to a camera?

    Again a great video!

Best of luck in your photography journey!

  3. Very interesting. I noticed a tiny mite or 'thing' living in my lens and as it traversed my lens multiple times, it left a residue on it – causing it to fog up. I intended to take it to a camera shop to be internally cleaned, but the whole lockdown thing began and I put the camera away for 9 months – with a silica bag inside the case. I tried the camera today and it seems to have cleared up!
Anyway, I'll give this a go – just to be extra-obsessive. Thank you.
