Like the title says, this is a pretty sick upper for your AR15 chambered in the currently more accessible 7.62×39. 10.5″ heavy (thiccq) barrel capable of 1 MOA with cheap ammunition. Most of the time I was shooting suppressed and it still ran like a top. I am using the same BCG from my BCA 10.5 x39 side charger which will work in both of course. important to note that the barrel is a type 2 barrel and needs a type 2 BCG (6.5 grendel/ 6 ARC). Back in october I paid $234 for it but not it’s around $300.

I just recently built my first 7.62×39 AR and I’m wanting to incorporate it into my kit between my 556 AR, and My AK…from what you’ve done do you think these builds would make a reliable primary?
My next upper is definitely going to be a 762 by 39 I just don't know where I'm going to get it from
Wait, I have two builds a 10 inch and 16inch with BCA barrels. Both guns have type 1 762×39 bolts and they run fine. My 10 inch has a Aim Surplus nib bcg and the 16 inch rifle has a BCA bolt carrier but the bolt is a Spikes and I'm sure they are a type 1. Had to replace the BCA bolt in the rifle cuz after a few hundred rounds the extractor would brake. I have almost 2k rounds with the Spikes bolt and no issues. The 10 inch pistol is going on 700 rounds without issues. 🤔 just measured my BCA bolt that I swapped out with the Spikes bolt both bolts measure .125
DTT website says they use XX treme barrels. Is this Bear Creek?

I personally use unimags they are all metal look like regular m4 mags but they hold 8 different calibers 7.62×39 is one of them and it works flawlessly i got 4 of them and have no problems and they look better than the curved mags

I'm pretty sure BCA barrels are type 1. I got one of their bolts and it's .125" face depth.

Great to know .136 bolt depth. My Colt upper has same bolt. 3500rnds(at least).Has 16" barrel though.I think this allows more lug relief (forward gas ring thrust). Carrier tilt can be further reduced with POF or PWS anti tilt buffer tubes.(I my have mentioned all this in your BCA ×39 upper comments section). In 1990 my friend Randy Jones improved the "Frankenmag"design by cutting a slant across the top of the AK mag and across the bottom of the AR mag, but thank goodness for DURAMAG!!!!

I bought the 7.5 Gen 2 762×39 Found gas block loose straight out of the box ensured holes lined up with and blue loctite tried multiple lowers h2 and h3 buffers and springs cant get pistol to cycle tried 1 round bolt gold open passes every time, also checked bolt carrier lubricated and extractor is ok, also spring is nice and hard no issues with bolt carrier, does not eject round most of the time any ideas anybody? Also tried different ammunition and magazines
